"Evergreen exteriors did a great job on our siding project. They also had a crew install beautiful tongue and groove wood under our deck/covered patio and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. From start to finish the Evergreen crew was a pleasure to work with!." - Rebecca S., Google
Posted on Alyssa Cooper2025-08-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We couldn’t be happier with the way our home turned out after having the siding replaced! Richard was very personable, helpful, and patient. We had a lot of questions and he made sure to answer them all with explanations. From start to finish, the team was professional, reliable, and friendly. They kept us updated throughout the process and made sure every detail was done right. The workmanship is excellent! Our house looks brand new and we’ve already had several neighbors compliment the transformation. What really stood out was how efficient and tidy the crew was. They showed up on time, worked hard every day, and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was done. It’s clear they take a lot of pride in their work. If you’re considering new siding, we highly recommend this company. They delivered exactly what they promised and more. Truly a 5-star experience!Posted on Csaba B2025-07-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Used stronger, better material for the job instead of cheap plastic. Great work Evergreen!Posted on Katrina Delridge2025-06-24Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tanner and Evergreen Exteriors are professional, thorough and quick to respond. Thank you!Posted on Rebecca Sanders2025-06-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Evergreen exteriors did a great job on our siding project. We had new siding put on our house, and Evergreen executed the project very well. The siding we chose was a bit unique and required some technical consideration, and Tanner was great at providing advice along the way. They also had a crew install beautiful tongue and groove wood under our deck/covered patio and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. From start to finish the Evergreen crew was a pleasure to work with!Posted on Rainier Barrett2025-06-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was in communication with Richard of Evergreen to set up a siding upgrade for my house in Nampa, and he could not have made the process easier! We had to coordinate with an abatement specialist to remove old asbestos cement siding and it was smooth as silk getting everything lined up in no time flat. Very nice, polite, punctual and detail-oriented. Will definitely keep y'all in mind when we need more work down the road!Posted on Roman Fukshansky2025-06-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called Evergreen after reading about them on Yelp, looking for gutter cleaners. Richard picked up the phone and offered to give me some recommendations, since gutter cleaning is not something they do. Once we got to chatting I asked them to come out to inspect the roof. Richard proposed a time same day and offered to blow out the gutters while he was up there for no charge. He called me when they were about 30 minutes out and arrived promptly as promised with his colleague Lake. They did a thorough inspection of the roof, blew out the gutters, and then blew the leafs out cleaning the ground. They took pictures of the roof and the gutters, and showed me the condition of everything. They also took a look at the siding and the windows. As it turned out, the roof is in a good condition, as is much of the rest of the siding and windows. But what I appreciated the most is their honesty and not trying to upsell me on unnecessary services. When I offered to pay something for them blowing out the gutters - as they literally saved me $200 for a cleaning service - they politely refused and accepted only a glass of water. Over the past year we have been doing a lot of work on our house and as a result have had to deal with a number of vendors, contractors and service providers. Thankfully, most of them have been quite good, while some not so much. However, I’ve learned that honesty and trustworthiness are perhaps the most important qualities in any service specialist, especially when what they end up recommending is against self interest - such as when no service is required. In conclusion, these guys are now my regular go-to for anything related to Roof, Siding, and Windows, and I’ll be recommending them to anyone who asks. They were professional, clearly knowledgeable, and displayed true integrity. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would!!Posted on Celeste Blackburn2025-05-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lake is amazing! He repaired our roof for all inspection items in a fast, effective way! Thank you Lake for such a quick, amazing fix.Posted on Landon Bastian2025-05-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Evergreen Exteriors has been fantastic to work with. Lake has been very professional and helpful from the beginning. He answered my call and quickly scheduled a time to come out and take a look at our roof. The roof walk through was very thorough and he answered all our questions and sent videos with all of his notes. Couldn't be happier to find a great roofer that provides great service and cares about their customers.

Siding is an investment into the life of your home. It enhances your curb appeal and can often boost your property value. It provides a long-lasting protective barrier against weather and physical damage.
It also adds to your energy efficiency by improving insulation and reducing heating or cooling costs. Once installed properly, it requires minimal upkeep compared to other exterior finishes. It also helps to prevent insect and rodent infestations.
Some siding types offer the safety of fire-retardant properties and many siding materials can help to reduce exterior noise penetration into your home. There is a growing variety of materials, colors, and styles to match any home design.
Siding Types: vinyl, insulated vinyl, LP Smartside, Hardie Board, composite, natural wood, wood composite, metal, fiber cement, brick, and stone veneer siding.
We know that your home exterior needs are unique and that they’re very important to you. That’s exactly why we’ll carefully assess your specific requirements to provide a tailored building solution – just for you!
Let’s face it – roofing, siding, decks, windows, and home aesthetics are expensive! We not only build with the best products and extreme attention to detail, but we have warranties in place that protect you long after the installation.
Often, homeowners call us because they’ve been told a roofing or siding job can’t be done a certain way or it’s just too expensive to consider from other Idaho building companies.

Do you handle siding replacement in Lowman?
Yes. We perform Lowman siding work for mountain cabins and full-time homes, including siding replacement Lowman, siding repair Lowman, and new siding installation Lowman along ID-21 (Ponderosa Pine Scenic Byway) and the Banks–Lowman Road.
We cover the South Fork Payette River corridor, the Lowman townsite, Kirkham and Bonneville hot springs areas, Clear Creek, and up toward Banner Summit (seasonal access).
Garden Valley, Crouch, Terrace Lakes, and Grandjean are part of our wider Lowman siding service area. Remote lots are no problem—our crews stage materials and plan around forest access and weather.
We install LP SmartSide siding, James Hardie fiber cement siding, and Diamond Kote siding with architectural metal options for snow-country durability. ChamClad and UFP-Edge accents fit rustic cabins and clean mountain-modern elevations.
Same-week inspections are standard (weather and road conditions permitting). You get photo documentation for insurance, lender, or county approvals.
High-elevation sun, canyon winds, river humidity, and deep snow loads work siding hard in Lowman. Ice dams stain eaves, drifting snow buries lower courses, and summer ember exposure tests trim and vents.
We don’t cover and hope. We remove to substrate, repair sheathing, build a true drainage plane, and add a vented rainscreen so Lowman siding can breathe and dry year-round.
How do I know my siding is failing in Lowman?
- Swollen edges or soft trim where snow piles against walls, decks, or stacked firewood.
- Waves or buckling courses from nails through the lap or joints set tight with no expansion gap.
- Brown or rust streaks below eaves from ice-dam back-ups and missing kickout flashings.
- Chalking or peeling paint on south and west elevations from high-UV exposure at altitude.
- Open miters or corner gaps after freeze-thaw cycles and canyon wind gusts.
- Nail pops or mushroomed holes from fastener corrosion and wet sheathing.
- Musty interior odor from non-vented walls holding moisture through long winters.
Our inspection delivers a plain-English photo set. We tag items repair now, replace later, or monitor so your Lowman siding plan is clear.
What does a proper tear-off and install include here?
Full evaluation comes first. Where needed we tear off to clean sheathing, replace soft OSB or ply, correct plane transitions, and square lines for lap or panel layouts.
- WRB housewrap or fluid-applied membrane with shingle-lapped seams and pan, side, and head flashings at windows/doors. We back-dam openings and tape seams to stop wind-driven snow and rain.
- Vented rainscreen (3/8″–3/4″ furring) for drainage and airflow the snow country demands. Insect/needle screens at bases and tops keep the cavity clear.
- LP SmartSide siding in lap, panel, or board-and-batten with back-primed cuts and sealed ends. Or James Hardie siding with correct fasteners and strict ground/roof/deck clearances.
- For Hardie we hold ~6″ above grade/soil and 1–2″ above roof and deck surfaces. We verify every clearance before paint.
- Diamond Kote siding for color-stable finishes; touch-ups are documented at closeout.
- Kickout flashings at roof-to-wall, Z-flash at horizontal breaks/belly bands, and metal trims that shed meltwater instead of trapping it.
We protect windows, hot-springs stonework, and conifers; we set tight cut stations. End of day we clean up and magnet-sweep—mountain nails travel.
Closeout includes a walkthrough, punch list, and warranty registration. You see exactly what changed on your Lowman siding project.
Siding repairs – what is smart to fix vs replace?
Repair now: snow-slide dents on one elevation, localized lap rot at a deck ledger or hose bib, one failed Z-flashing, or sun-burned trim that needs new corners. Targeted, fast, and cost-effective.
Replace: systemic moisture behind non-vented T1-11, wavy planes from sheathing failure, repeat paint failure from bad clearances, or pervasive buckling from nail-through-the-lap installs. We stage urgent weatherproofing first, then schedule full scopes.
New construction siding – what’s different in Lowman?
Layout is everything. We set datum lines around bump-outs, align panel seams to window heads, and plan terminations at decks and steep roofs for clean reveals and snow-shed.
Profiles match the architecture—board-and-batten farmhouse, lap with modern metal accents, or full panel systems. Painters back-roll cuts so color stays even through hot July sun.
Overlay vs full replacement – what works in the mountains?
Overlays hide rot, trap vapor, and telegraph old waves. Lowman homes face deep snow, ice, and summer embers—shortcuts get exposed fast.
A true siding replacement Lowman scope means substrate fixes, continuous WRB, proper kickouts, and a rainscreen. It looks better, dries faster, and lasts longer than an overlay.
Materials that fit Lowman homes
LP SmartSide siding: Warm wood look with impact resistance and ladder-ding toughness—great for board-and-batten cabins and mixed lap layouts.
James Hardie fiber cement siding: Non-combustible with crisp lines; excellent near vegetated slopes and where defensible space matters.
Diamond Kote siding: Factory-applied finish that holds color under high-UV conditions. Less repainting, lasting curb appeal.
ChamClad & UFP-Edge accents: Rustic or modern textures for gables, entries, and bump-outs—pair cleanly with lap or panel systems.
Architectural metal siding: Vertical rib or flush reveal for mountain-modern homes; sheds water and shrug-offs UV and drifting snow.
Quick care plan for Idaho mountains
- Keep snow and stacked firewood pulled back to maintain siding clearances.
- Re-caulk high-movement joints every 3–5 years; spot-paint sun-facing trim.
- Blow out needles from vents and rainscreen bases each fall.
- After storms, check kickouts, belly bands, window heads, and deck intersections.
- Create defensible space—trim vegetation and don’t store combustibles against walls.
Why LP or Hardie for Lowman-area weather?
- Engineered performance: LP resins with SmartGuard handle impact and ladder bumps. Hardie fiber cement is stable and non-combustible in heat, wind, and freeze-thaw.
- System details: trims, vents, and fasteners are matched for warranty support and long life in snow country.
- Color longevity: Diamond Kote finishes plus a rainscreen help coatings last through high-UV summers and long winters.
