Alyssa Cooper2025-08-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We couldn’t be happier with the way our home turned out after having the siding replaced! Richard was very personable, helpful, and patient. We had a lot of questions and he made sure to answer them all with explanations. From start to finish, the team was professional, reliable, and friendly. They kept us updated throughout the process and made sure every detail was done right. The workmanship is excellent! Our house looks brand new and we’ve already had several neighbors compliment the transformation. What really stood out was how efficient and tidy the crew was. They showed up on time, worked hard every day, and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was done. It’s clear they take a lot of pride in their work. If you’re considering new siding, we highly recommend this company. They delivered exactly what they promised and more. Truly a 5-star experience! Katrina Delridge2025-06-24Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tanner and Evergreen Exteriors are professional, thorough and quick to respond. Thank you! Rebecca Sanders2025-06-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Evergreen exteriors did a great job on our siding project. We had new siding put on our house, and Evergreen executed the project very well. The siding we chose was a bit unique and required some technical consideration, and Tanner was great at providing advice along the way. They also had a crew install beautiful tongue and groove wood under our deck/covered patio and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. From start to finish the Evergreen crew was a pleasure to work with! Rainier Barrett2025-06-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was in communication with Richard of Evergreen to set up a siding upgrade for my house in Nampa, and he could not have made the process easier! We had to coordinate with an abatement specialist to remove old asbestos cement siding and it was smooth as silk getting everything lined up in no time flat. Very nice, polite, punctual and detail-oriented. Will definitely keep y'all in mind when we need more work down the road! Roman Fukshansky2025-06-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called Evergreen after reading about them on Yelp, looking for gutter cleaners. Richard picked up the phone and offered to give me some recommendations, since gutter cleaning is not something they do. Once we got to chatting I asked them to come out to inspect the roof. Richard proposed a time same day and offered to blow out the gutters while he was up there for no charge. He called me when they were about 30 minutes out and arrived promptly as promised with his colleague Lake. They did a thorough inspection of the roof, blew out the gutters, and then blew the leafs out cleaning the ground. They took pictures of the roof and the gutters, and showed me the condition of everything. They also took a look at the siding and the windows. As it turned out, the roof is in a good condition, as is much of the rest of the siding and windows. But what I appreciated the most is their honesty and not trying to upsell me on unnecessary services. When I offered to pay something for them blowing out the gutters - as they literally saved me $200 for a cleaning service - they politely refused and accepted only a glass of water. Over the past year we have been doing a lot of work on our house and as a result have had to deal with a number of vendors, contractors and service providers. Thankfully, most of them have been quite good, while some not so much. However, I’ve learned that honesty and trustworthiness are perhaps the most important qualities in any service specialist, especially when what they end up recommending is against self interest - such as when no service is required. In conclusion, these guys are now my regular go-to for anything related to Roof, Siding, and Windows, and I’ll be recommending them to anyone who asks. They were professional, clearly knowledgeable, and displayed true integrity. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would!! Celeste Blackburn2025-05-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lake is amazing! He repaired our roof for all inspection items in a fast, effective way! Thank you Lake for such a quick, amazing fix. Landon Bastian2025-05-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Evergreen Exteriors has been fantastic to work with. Lake has been very professional and helpful from the beginning. He answered my call and quickly scheduled a time to come out and take a look at our roof. The roof walk through was very thorough and he answered all our questions and sent videos with all of his notes. Couldn't be happier to find a great roofer that provides great service and cares about their customers.
We have a Primary Package, known for its lasting protection and superior performance, at a starting level cost. Then, we follow up with two additional packages: the Palouse Package and the Preferred Package.
Each of these three roofing packages offer distinct features and benefits, catering to different preferences, requirements, and homeowner budgets.
Whether you seek premium options, enhanced durability, or comprehensive protection – we have an ideal package to meet your individual roofing needs in New Plymouth.
How long do the new shingles last?
We use only the top of the line Malarkey (Roofing) shingles, with an industry leading material warranty. We also offer a 15-year labor warranty.
What do I have to do?
The only thing we ask is that you have your car out of the driveway, we pull all permits, register all warranties and handle all clean-up. Everything is done by us.
What does your payment schedule look like?
For the majority of residential roofs, there is only one final payment: once the job is completed.
I thought you were doing the entire roof/siding/deck?
We have crews of factory-trained installers for each of our specific services, our roofers just roof and our siders just do siding. As we have grown it is no longer feasible for myself and Ryan to do all of our projects by ourselves. If you have any questions feel free to ask the jobsite lead (who I always introduce to the homeowner) or ask myself, Ryan or Grace, we are always in and out and will make a point of saying hello as we stop by.
Your time-lapse videos are great – do we get one for our job?
We film time-lapses of all our projects! If we get your approval, we will post a public time-lapse video of your project to our youtube channel, if not we can send you a private video. In your final walkaround we can review all photos of the project and answer any question about any photo or section of the video that you would like.
What happens if you run into extra work?
Change orders suck in construction, and we hate the contractors that rely on them to make a job profitable just as much as you do. Any change order no initially planned into your estimate will be charged for solely time and material without supervisory hours or profit added on.
When do I pay you?
We usually schedule a final walkaround 2-5 days after final completion and inspection of the roof. Once final inspection is done and we have your blessing, the final payment is due.
How do I get ahold of you in case something happens?
Feel free to contact the office, or once you become a client, feel free to give my personal cell number a call. It might take a couple of calls at 2:00 AM but I will pick up eventually.
Is there anything that I need to do?
Nope! Many of our systems are entirely maintenance-free, and we offer free inspections, so have us out every 5 years and we will make sure you are in tip top shape.
Do you handle roof replacement in New Plymouth, ID?
Yes — full tear-off, re-roofing, and leak-proof roof replacement New Plymouth across Payette County.
We install Malarkey architectural shingles and standing-seam metal roofing, tuned for Snake River Plain heat, afternoon outflow winds along I-84/US-30 and ID-52, and winter freeze–thaw near the Payette River and canal corridors.
- Same-week roof inspections; photo docs for insurance.
New Plymouth weather swings hard. UV cooks south slopes, corridor winds lift tabs, and cold snaps open seams around pipe boots and valleys.
Our crews spec asphalt shingle roofing (Malarkey Legacy®/Vista®) or metal roofing with ice & water at eaves/valleys, synthetic underlayment, new drip edge, starter at rakes, and tight flashing at chimneys, skylights, and sidewalls.
We dry-in Day-1, protect landscaping, magnet-sweep daily, and leave a photo set so your agent sees exactly what changed.
Whether you’re near New Plymouth ID in town or out on open acreage toward the river, we match your exposure: high-wind nailing for prairie lots, ridge vent + soffit intake for attic balance, and color-stable metal where snow slides into shaded entries.
After a gust front along I-84/US-30 or ID-52, we triage fast: roof repair New Plymouth now, schedule a roof replacement later, or monitor with a plan.
What does a proper tear-off and install include in New Plymouth?
Full tear-off to clean decking, replace soft OSB/ply, ice & water at eaves and all valleys, synthetic underlayment elsewhere. Drip edge first, then shingles.
Starter strips at eaves/rakes, high-wind nail patterns, step/counter-flashing at walls, sealed pipe boots, pre-painted valley metal, continuous ridge vent with matching caps. For asphalt shingle roofing, we spec Malarkey components for system warranty; for metal roofing, concealed fasteners and clip spacing are tuned for thermal movement.
Final walkthrough, magnet sweep, gutter cleanout, and warranty registration. That is re-roofing New Plymouth done right.
Roof repair New Plymouth — what is smart to fix vs replace?
Fix now: localized chimney leaks, one wind-torn slope off the I-84/US-30 corridor, a brittle boot on a 10-year asphalt shingle roof, or a lifted rake trim on metal roofing.
Replace: widespread granule loss, curling tabs on multiple planes, or recurring valley leaks on shaded eaves.
You’ll get a plain-English report with photos: repair now, replace later, or monitor. We don’t sell — we show the evidence.
Reroofs vs overlays — what is best for New Plymouth homes?
Overlays trap heat, hide bad decking, and add weight — hard pass. A clean tear-off lets us fix sheathing, reset flashings, and vent correctly.
If you’re in older in-town framing or a multi-layer west-side New Plymouth roof, tear-off is safer, cooler, and lasts longer. Bottom line: a true reroof in New Plymouth — whether Malarkey shingles or metal roofing — means tear-off.
How do roof inspections in New Plymouth ID prevent surprise leaks?
- Attic check: daylight at penetrations, dark stains under valleys.
- Exterior: lifted tabs from corridor winds, cracked seals at skylights and sidewalls.
- Gutters: shingle granules piling after hot July weeks.
- Vent balance: blocked soffits, missing baffles, tired box vents.
We document everything and prioritize fixes so small issues don’t become ceiling stains in January.
How to choose a roofing contractor New Plymouth can trust
- Process: Day-1 dry-in, jobsite protection, daily magnet sweeps.
- Parts: ice & water, synthetic underlayment, drip edge, starter, ridge vent — listed on the bid.
- Proof: recent local photos along the I-84/US-30 and ID-52 corridors, permits, and system-level warranties for Malarkey shingles or metal roofing.
- People: no high-pressure — clear schedule windows around New Plymouth events and weather.
Ask for addresses near you — we’ll show recent asphalt shingle roofing with Malarkey and standing-seam metal roofing across Payette County.
After a storm along I-84/US-30 or ID-52 — 5 minute self-check
- Scan ridge caps for crooked lines.
- Look for shingles or fasteners on walks and driveways.
- Check ceilings under valleys and around fireplaces.
- Sight along wall flashings for gaps or uplift.
- Text for a same-week inspection — we’ll handle photos for claims.
What roofing materials are best for New Plymouth neighborhoods?
Asphalt shingle roofing: Architectural Malarkey Legacy®/Vista® is a strong value for in-town blocks and newer subdivisions; impact-rated options help with windblown debris. Cool-tone shingles tame attic temps for south/east slopes in New Plymouth.
Metal roofing: Standing-seam shines on long shed roofs and open-lot homes with snow-guard options and concealed fasteners for clean lines. Great where shade and drifting snow create ice-dam pressure.
Why Malarkey for New Plymouth?
- Durable architectural profiles for curb appeal in historic and modern neighborhoods.
